happy new year!!

i'm sorry it's taking me soo long to finish up the layout but i'm trying to to do so much stuff before the school semester starts up again. what am i doing exactly?? well, i'm teaching myself php while trying to find someone who with php hosting to host the site, working, and finishing up some incomplete artwork while i eagerly await my grades.

sooo... i'm happy to report that all my links are up and running again. but, they are all now pop-ups. sowry, but once i get a new host with php i will continue where i left off on this layout.

here's a little sneak peak of the new layout that i'm calling "anime sweets :: manga style!" like??? well, i do. heh heh. i got the inspiration from looking at other sites during my random websurf episodes.

anywho, just wanted to let you guys know that i'm still alive and still playing around with dreamweaver. i would be done much sooner if i could only figure out why it doesn't want to connect to my server. *aww, i'm in desparate need of developing some networking skills*

hey everyone, it's me, Dani, again with another overdue update.

yeah, yeah, i know where's the art? well, school was totally kicking my, shall i say, butt this semester and i had no time for myself. but now that finals are over and i have a month off, i will try my best to get some new CCS related art on the webby for you guys. cuz see i have been drawing but not anything that's CCS related so i'll try again in few days. sowry!

on other news, i have a new fan fic writer for the site. let's all welcome kimmy! *applause* she's also my latest affy and i'm very grateful for that and her story; which from what i have read will be a great story!

i also got another affy as well and once she gets her site up and running again i'll post up her link.

Plus the layout is only temporary. i was playing around with dreamweaver mx for about 2 hours and finally figured out how to use it and came up with this quick layout for you guys, so that you'll know i'm alive. manz, this is going to make my life so much easier now. heh heh. in the meantime, take the time to visit one of my affies or the cliques under the navigation window. or if you really want to know how i'm doing check out my *cough* boring weblog.

Alrighty, well I'm half-way through my Fall Semester and everything is starting to pile up. *sighs* Only thing keeping me sane is the thought of winter break being only 6 more weeks away.

On another note: I almost done with my commissed work and here's a sneak peek.

I'll probably post up the finished version sometime next weekend.

Oh yeah! My affiliate has finally completed her clique's website. It's called the SSAA clique and it's totally worth a look. And I recommend that you take a look at another friend's site, Emily, although it's nothing more than a blog still worth reading.

Damn! Nearly two weeks since my last update!

i'm sorry but still no new art and i would like to explain why.

my life right now is split up like this:

18 hours of courses
16 hours of work
? hours of homework
? hours of reading
? hours spent hanging out to forget work

no time to work on the site or my own artwork =(

So, i will try to do what i can but being that my time is limited there might not be any updates for a while. So, please bear with me.

Let's just say no matter how old you are school just keeps getting worse.

Art? I've got tons of art unfinished and unscanned. Sorry I will try to get to those works once i get through my required readings for the week. I did receive my first gift a few days ago and today i finaly got to post it. Go check it out.

I am now looking for a few good staff members who are willing to write a Card Captor Sakura Info page as well as someone who is willing to share any CCS midi and/or MP3 files. Still in that lazy mode i have been in for the past week but i've decided to be a little productive and organize the stuff in the site. i have three pics that are almost done (meaning all i have left to do is the shading) so PLEASE bear with me!

my affiliate, niki-chan, has created a brand new CCS clique and as soon as she has the site for it up and running I will post it right here.

other than that nothing else to say but school is only 4 days away which also means that winter break is only a mere 3 months away!

ok, ok, so i have been a little lazy lately (*shrugs*) but i will finish those promised CCS pics eventually. but i would also like to mention that i did finish a non-ccs pic yesterday (*slowly getting your attention*). i suggest you go to the gallery to check it out.

on a personal note, i got my first paid commission job today: YAY! It’s for a co-worker's frat. it should turn out it be real fun. and of course, i will post the finished work in the gallery.

well, i was recently informed that my site wasn't working so i go to work to making it big and better than before while fixing the loading errors. as you can see there's a new pretty pink layout, totally created piece by piece. =]

as for the contest, it's over mainly because of the lack of entries. aw well. i can't really force people to participate.

major remodeling being done here!

first, i got tired of the angel pic i drew for the welcome so i decided to change it to go with the new CCS motif (theme). You will eventually find the pic in the gallery once I figure out a problem with my PC. along with that pic i've decided to host a new contest! since i'm currently under a CCS kick i think the site should have a new name. i'm asking everyone who is interested to send me your site name ideas and the winner will receive a specially designed CCS certificate and i will go to work to use the new name on my site and of course give the winner tons of acclaim. the contest ends september 1, 2002 so please send your ideas ASAP using the email form to your left. good luck to all participants!

secondly, it's an extrememly sad time for me right now. no, no, no one died but i keep getting emails for my professors (depressing!) reminding me that school's right around the corner. geez! and on top of that my damn PC keeps acting weird. so, until i can get it up an running i will be unable to post anything unless i do it from work (whenever no one is paying attention).

Mostly no new news today other than I completed some more card captor sakura fanart. this week's featured pic is of yue and I personally think this one is the best work I have done so far (hehe*). I have also taken off the wallpaper section while I take the time to remodel it.

A ton of stuff to tell you guys this time. First of all, I have a new affiliate Sakura Star: Avalon Apartment! Secondly, as I was wondering around the net for some drawing inspiration I came along a site that had this cool window trick. I said to myself, "Man! How'd they do that?!?" Two days of research and tada I am using it in my site. Totally cool, huh? Unfortunately, people who turn off their javascript will not be able to view the cool upgrade.

Next, at work I was still trying to figure out why my link images were not coming up when I decided to see if the gallery links were working as well. To my surprise I kept getting a 404 error meaning that the pics were not on the server. So, I took care of that as well as the link problem. FINALLY!

YAY!! I'm totally pleased with myself today cuz I finally finished my latest project. It's posted in the gallery under the newly created gifts section. This is a section I created to include all the works that I will hopefully be contributing to other anime related websites.

Other than that I'm truly getting the hang of photoshop, don't you think?? *My future in computer graphics is starting to look a little brighter.* Plus, I finally got some guest entries in my guestbook. Thanks for the praise and don't forget to come back.

well, let's just say that I'm a perfectionist. although I have a perfectly working webpage I was still obsessed about how it looked and so I'm here. You can check out the other layout I did @ my angelfire page. the purpose of the page is still the same: a place to showcase my art.

Finally got around to fixing up the links page. I organized all of them into sections and tried my best to enter a fitting description for each. Plus, a friend told me that my pics weren't coming up so I fixed that as well.

I'm still working on a few random pics and they should be done within a few weeks. Once I'm done I'll post them on the page.
